Job Description

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. 

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: - Experience as first assist in surgery (at least one year of experience as RNFA) - Minimum preferred one year robotics experience - Able to apply principles of asepsis and infection control - Ability to perform CPR - Ability to perform effectively in stressful and emergency situations - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Ability to recognize safety hazards and initiative appropriate preventative and corrective action - This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations Preferred Qualifications: - BSN or MSN degree - Current American Heart Association ACLS Certifications Licenses/Certifications: - Current American Heart Assocation BLS Certificate - Current RN license in the State of California - Active RNFA certification
