Job Description

The Senior IR Technologist is a CRT/ARRT Technologist who maintains an ARRT sponsored VIR
Certification within 1 year of reclassification. This individual must also be certified and demonstrate
competency in performing injection procedures necessary for IR for a minimum of three – five
years.  

This position requires the individual to be flexible in their work schedule, working Monday to Friday, covering nights and weekends and taking call when necessary.  

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 3-6 years of IR experience.  - Previous experience in healthcare environment required (minimum 3-5 years).  - Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.  - Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays. Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations - Must be willing to learn and train in Neuro-IR and Body-IR - Must be willing to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as necessary - Ability to self direct and organize a varied workload REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS - ARRT Licensure   - CRT Licensure  - BLS (CPR) Certification  - VIR Certification within 1 year of hire PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - Prefer recent work experience in an acute care setting  - Prefer VIR Certification or obtained  within 1 year of hire
