Job Description

The Division of Hematology-Oncology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital is seeking highly motivated and skilled Associate Physician Diplomate to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of hematology and oncology. We have part-time clinical opportunities available in the following areas:

Hematology Outpatient Clinic
As part of the outpatient team, you will provide specialized care for patients with hematologic disorders, including benign and malignant conditions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized treatment plans. Panels will consist of new and follow-up patients.

Inpatient Consult Service (Hematology and/or Oncology)
In this role, you will provide expert consultation for hospitalized patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. You will partner with primary teams, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis, management, and coordination of care. This position allows for meaningful involvement in teaching and mentoring trainees, including fellows and residents.

Hematology e-Referral Program
The e-referral program offers an innovative opportunity to deliver virtual consultations for hematologic cases referred from across the San Francsico Health Network. You will leverage your expertise to provide rapid, high-quality recommendations and facilitate streamlined care for patients while collaborating with referring providers.

The ideal for Associate Physician Diplomate who are deeply committed to caring for patients in a mission-driven, safety-net setting and who want flexibility that supports professional balance and personal sustainability.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: - Must be Board Certified in Oncology and/or Hematology through an accredited board, and in possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California as determined by the California Medical Board. - DEA License - Demonstrated excellence and commitment to patient-centered care - Deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations in a safety-net setting - Strong teamwork, clinical judgment, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual in English and Spanish or Cantonese - Prior experience in safety-net, public, or resource-limited health systems - Familiar with EPIC
License / Certification
DEA Number, Hematology/Oncology-Med.
