Job Summary:

The HR Generalist 2 coordinates and oversees the entire new hire onboarding process from the beginning to the end, meeting both the needs of the new hire and hiring manager. They serve as the primary contact to new hires and guide them through the entire hire process.  They also support and provide guidance on other transactions during the employee life cycle, including assignment changes and terminations.

The HR Generalist 2 also serves as Tier 1 support to new hires, employees, and department managers on issues related to Human Resources transactions, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, pay rates, and related matters. They partner closely with other HR partners to assist in responding to questions and resolving issues for employees.

Qualifications
Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related subject and/or equivalent experience or training - 1 year of applicable work experience in Human Resources or customer service related role - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in office productivity tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe and ChatGPT - Ability to effectively utilize multiple systems, including web-based systems to perform daily work - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner - Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and manage deadlines - Excellent customer service and organizational skills - Ability to utilize an applicant tracking or Human Resources System
