Job Description
As a Medical Assistant 2, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within the Dermatology department. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related healthcare role. - Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent, as per state regulations. - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with a strong understanding of dermatological conditions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient workflow. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment. - Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant healthcare software. - Knowledge of infection control practices and standard precautions, ensuring a safe patient care environment. - A compassionate and patient-centered approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care.
