Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Hospital Assistant 3 to enhance our primary care services. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical assistant skills, including phlebotomy, and have a background in primary or family medicine. This role is crucial in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification with phlebotomy skills. - At least 1 year of experience in primary/family medicine. - Minimum 6 months of experience performing blood draws for adults and pediatric patients. - Proficiency in APeX/Epic and MyChart InBasket messaging. - Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems. - Familiarity with Epic's electronic health record system is preferred. - Experience with immunization cycles and disease registry tracking is an asset. - Background in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or Family Medicine settings is desirable. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
