Job Description

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. 

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: - Two (2) years of BMT experience - One (1) year of recent clinical RN experience in Adult Inpatient Oncology, or Adult Outpatient Infusion Clinic - The flexibility to orient an work in all UCSF Health locations Preferred Qualifications: - Telemetry monitoring experience - Registered nurse experience in an acute care Hematology/Oncology/BMT unit - Previous clinical RN experience in an academic medical center - Bachelor of Science, Nursing (BSN) License/Certification: - Active State of California Registered Nurse licensure - Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification - ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card
