Job Description

This is a temporary opportunity with a duration of approximately three months. Includes optional medical benefits, holiday pay and sick leave accrual. Fully on-site in Oakland. 

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting patient care delivery and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment. This role is essential to the daily functioning of the unit and requires excellent teamwork, communication, and empathy.

 

Qualifications
Required: - Operating room experience - Ability to work effectively within a team. - Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written. - Basic arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction). - Ability to prioritize and organize workload. - Basic computer skills. - Ability to act as a first responder in emergency situations. - Willingness to learn new skills. Preferred: - Knowledge of medical terminology.
